Dear Professor Sprout,
I am writing this letter on behalf of the entire first year class to express my heartfelt apologies for all the chaos which we caused during the last lecture of yours. The holidays probably went in our heads and we lost the ethics and etiquettes of how to behave in a classroom especially when a professor is around. The way you left the classroom in disgust made us realise that how disgraceful we were to your teachings. We are extremely sorry and I assure you that we will try to behave in the way we are supposed to behave. We will try to win your heart and faith back and shall prove to be the best first year batch which the college has ever had.
I hope that you pardon us this time considering this as a childish mistake and we assure you that we shall behave like matured students.
Yours faithfully,
Jacob Smith
